Commitment / Other Details
I am a full-time tutor. I am able to start immediately and commit until the year-end. I also conduct group tuition. Students are to form their own groups of 3 and I will travel to their common place.
Rapport Building
I am an aspiring motivational tutor. I believe that as a private tutor, my goal is to help my students excel beyond the classroom and do well in life. This is the essential value that a private tutor must provide to his students beyond a normal school curriculum. Therefore, I will put in painstaking effort into understanding my students, diagnosing their problems and looking for alternative ways to motivate them. I spend the bulk of my time outside of class time pondering, analysing and devising new methods to help my students. Also, I will give my students and their parents up to 30 minutes of extra lesson time discussing about their specific needs and how best I can meet those needs. As engaging a private tutor is expensive, I strongly believe that a good tutor must offer great value beyond what he has been paid and ultimately, he must love to serve the needs of his students and their parents.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
As a Good Tutor
My TEACHING PHILOSOPHY is:

1. COMPREHENSIVE - we will leave no stones unturned.

2. SIMPLE & CLEAR - this is to help students develop their focus.

3. SYSTEMATIC & ORGANISED - this is important for efficient learning.

4. CHALLENGING - my focus is constantly on pushing my students and helping them understand and eventually realising their full potential.

5. ATTENTION TO DETAIL - I put painstaking time and energy into breaking down my solutions and explanations.

6. IMPROVISE - every student is unique; much thought and reflection is poured into understanding each of my students, tapping into their inherent potential, and crafting a special approach for each of them.

7. EXAM-ORIENTED - nothing fancy, just guaranteed results.

8. COMMITMENT - I will always be here, 24/7. All your questions will be answered.
