As a full time tutor, I am able to commit throughout the semestral calendar without any issues.
Rapport Building
Tutoring has exposed me to different types of students from different types of schools. Not all schools provides the same support to their students and because of this exposure, I have managed to get the best practices from different schools and used them in my tutoring.

Handling different types of students has also enriched my communications and teaching techniques. Not all students will respond the same way to the same teaching technique so I have built an arsenal of methods to engage the pupils.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
Being an ex MOE teacher has its advantage. I always have friends who helps keep me updated with the current happenings in schools. Apart from that, I am engaged as a tutor with a Mendaki and they work along side partners to ensure that what we teach is relevant.
As a Good Tutor
I am able to keep the students engaged, identify their strengths and weaknesses and encourage them to strive to be a better students. Apart from that, I am pursuing my counselling degree (which I am going to complete in June 2017) and thus, is able to observer and identify background issues which could translate to problems in learning.
