I got 16 years of tutoring experience in Maths. Some of my past students score A1 in both A & E maths are now in university. I apply different approach for students with different learning abilities.

Commitment / Other Details
I can start any time from nov. Each session can be 1.5 or 2 hr. For any tuition assignment, I will be very student focus. Also, I would like to continue with the student until they are in "O" level.
Rapport Building
For the students, always be friendly with them. They will be more willing to ask you more questions about the subject, then they can learn more.
As for the parents, have to constantly feed back to them the progress of their childern. Importantly is to communicate with them the performance of their children.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
To keep up to date with curriculum, I can go to book shop to look for latest text book for the subject. I can also check from the MOE website.
As a Good Tutor
I think have to know the different learning ability for different student. Then have to use different approach. For example in maths, those fast learner can do more changelling questions. As for slower learner, they can do it in a progressive manner. Important thing is to help them to have more confidence about the subject.
A good tutor must also care for the students. For example, if a student did not do well in the test or exam, we must give them some positive encouragement. Besides, if they face any personal problem, we try to give them good advice.
