Rapport Building
I give encouragement, incentives through lesser homework (if they show good behaviour and give correct answers during class), giving appropriate breaks, teaching and making them understand the concepts, showing examples, and then making them solve the problems themselves. I also give compliments and candy when they have done a good job.
