Tuition/Teaching Experience
I had experience of teaching primary school mathematics and science for a few months. She did well for her SA2 Mathematics in primary 5. I stopped teaching her due to my school commitments and A levels. I can be a great tutor because I am patient and friendly with kids, and I have a strong interest in teaching Mathematics. I would like to pass down my skills to my tutee, to make sure that they do well for their examinations

Commitment / Other Details
I am able to start tutoring from 12 June onwards and usually available on Sundays.
Rapport Building
I build rapport with students by having small talks with them during lessons to make sure that the lesson will not be too boring for them and to better understand their learning styles. As for parents, I usually give feedbacks to them regarding their children's learning progress.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
As a Good Tutor
I think that the basic qualities of good tutors are being responsible, helpful and patient. I understand that there are slower learners and these children really need to have a tutor who is very patient with them. We are there to teach and make sure that they understand, and not be impatient and rush through the lesson. Being responsible is important as well, as we tutors should be responsible for our tutees learning. We should really make sure that they understand fully, by even helping them outside lesson time especially when it is near the exam period.
