Tuition/Teaching Experience
Having worked with a plethora of committees both in School and as a National Serviceman Full-Time (NSF), I have been exposed to many different types of people in my life. As part of the School Senior Council in Junior College, I am known to have exemplified teamwork, leadership and most importantly, patience. When working with others, whether it be educating or learning, patience is a key characteristic that one must possess. I was an Infantry Officer and Platoon Commander in the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF). I worked with a 50-men sized platoon together and it was then, that I learnt that in leading, one must also follow. The same applies for teaching - the tutor must be willing to listen to the student in order for the student to benefit and learn in the most efficient way.
