Since graduating from my university, I have consistently worked with young children. I used to be employed as a therapist for children with learning disabilities such as ASD and ADHD thus I am well aware of certain difficulties that children encounter when learning. I administered one on one intervention to these children and employed techniques that catered to their learning styles. I am very patient and one of my philosophies in teaching is respecting the individual learning pace of each child as well as their unique needs and abilities. I believe that in order for real learning to occur, a child must be able to make sense of the new information and integrate this with his/her life.
