I would say I have the compassion for students. I view myself as a tutor who wants to help them in their grades and on the other hand, serves as a mentor in building their character, good traits which will greatly benefit them in the future.
I had been teaching primary,secondary, polytechnic students since the age of 19 as a form of income stream.
I can't say that I am the best tutor in Singapore, but I can say that I am a responsible tutor who takes his work with required commitment, integrity and also encouraging students to think out of the box!

I believe we have to understand people in and out, their circumstances, their point of view, what they wanted for their end goal. The main thing is to communicate periodically with the parents, discussing observations and if received approval from parents, to improve the student's learning curve. Gradually, if the child is willing to learn, their academics and character will improve and this creates a sense of appreciation among the student, the parents and myself.
