I find great joy in teaching. I feel satisfied knowing that I helped a student through tough times in catching up with their studies.
I truly understand how difficult it can be to catch up on studies especially when other commitments in school and life gets in the way. We often need external help to keep up with the crucial concepts in what we learn.
During my JC years, I tutored 2 students who had problems keeping up with the curriculum in Economics and Mathematics. My students always felt that I'm able to transform seemingly complicated concepts into simpler understandable ideas that were easier to remember.
I am able to work on Friday to Sunday. Can start as soon as confirmed.
I work best one-on-one or one-to-two which allows me to focus fully on my students.
I can work up to 2hrs per session
Rapport Building
I'm able to connect quickly with students and their parents alike. I have the ability to adapt to the communication styles of the people I am talking to. This allows my students to feel at ease with me and treat me more as a friend than an impersonal tutor.
I am more able to transfer my knowledge and techniques in learning as my students will be more receptive to my ideas.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I obtain updated materials from my juniors in school.
I also do research online to stay in track with the latest updates in the curriculum.
