My teaching style usually goes, exchange expectations, preliminary test, set a goal, syllubus and plan, pop test and review and discussion with parents on a monthly basis.
Rapport Building
I would like to start an ice breaking game with student and have a discussion with parents regarding their expectations to avoid any misunderstanding and to develop a feasible plan to suit the student better.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I normally check with juniors to make sure the syllabus is up to date and will help student to write a weekly summary.
As a Good Tutor
I think two things are really important to be a good tutor. One is result driven and the other is communication capability.
