Tuition/Teaching Experience
I have been tutoring a Primary 3 student English for about 4 months and would like to support more children who are having difficulties in their studies. Being able to see their progress gradually gives me a great sense of satisfaction and achievement, and I am sure, for the children as well. Thus I would like to help them achieve their greatest potential in their learning.

Rapport Building
I keep the parents up to date regularly with their child's curriculum progress. Before lessons I normally would talk to the students about things other than studies, e.g. Interests, weekend plans etc.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
Get information from curriculum subject teachers in school, visit bookstores e.g. Popular, to ask for the appropriate range of assessment books, textbooks, workbooks. Also reading up on the topics prior to a lesson to be taught.
As a Good Tutor
I believe a truly good tutor would possess qualities such as patience, ability to motivate, having care for the students, being innovative in order to engage their interest in a subject, being able to discover the students' strengths and weaknesses, and play on their strengths more, to let them feel more empowered to drive their own learning.
