I like to build rapport with the student, I think it's easier to identify with the student and find a suitable method to help them learn and enjoy their work better.
I have been teaching for about 3-4 years. I taught primary school students before but I mostly focus on secondary school students. All my current students are secondary school students. Students may be different so its always good to understand how they work and are motivated so I would try to fit into their learning styles.
I like to see my students through, and I take personal pride in helping them to do well, not just academically but also holistically if there's an opportunity.
