Rapport Building
I am good with kids. Mostly because I myself have a younger brother who is currently P4. I understand that patience is key and that every child wants someone to simply listen to them. I engage the student to talk about things they like and to share it with me to build rapport (and it's an excellent way to practice English for International students).

For older students, it's slightly easier as students generally tend to focus and understand better.

I will ask the student for feedback after every lesson to make sure that he/she is comfortable and to see whether there are special requests/suggestions that might improve the efficiency of the tuition.

I sit down with the parents to give feedback every week and listen to their requirements and updates them on how their child is doing.

My lessons are very flexible and I adapt my ways to the student to dome extent to improve the outcome of the sessions.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I am very familiar with primary and secondary mathematics curriculum as I have been updating myself with them and going through them often to make up some mock questions for my students.

For language, international schools seem to have different approaches as compared with usual schools. I will adjust my teaching accordingly.

As for physics, I have not taught physics yet but I have always been good at physics and am revising the curriculum up to O level.
