I was tutoring my cousin's friend 4 times a month before her exams 2 years ago in 2013. She was Sec 1 then. I usually use the consultation method of teaching, in which my tutee will ask me questions they do not know how to solve and I will try to help them understand things better. I also will allow them to think through those difficult problems before extending my help for them. I will also prepare questions for them to further enhance their ability to improve in their weak areas.
