Commitment / Other Details
I will have time until the end of the year and am able to start immediately. If group tuition is necessary, it can be conducted at a students house or my own if it is before 5pm.
Rapport Building
My usual practice is to talk to the students and parents separately, so I am able to find a common ground and reasonable targets of what the student should be able to achieve at a minimum.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
Every year I will check the changes to the students curriculum for their upcoming year. Also by looking at up to date work and text books, I am able to keep up with learning and teaching techniques.
As a Good Tutor
Patience and motivation are key to being a good tutor. Never giving up on your student is key even when they have lost faith in themselves. By taking the time to break down the problems into manageable parcels, I feel as long as the student keeps trying, they cannot fail.
