Tuition/Teaching Experience: I have been teaching for 7 years right after I graduated from Temasek Polytechnic. I have taught speech and drama and phonics for children aged 4 till 14, and had worked as a student care teacher for three years. I enjoy working with children and I never get tired guiding them. I am always firm and dedicated to maximise their potential especially in their studies. I love to see my students achieve no matter how small their progress is. I yearn for the young to adapt this mindset of being knowledge-hungry. I have been working as a drama teacher and student care teacher but I always have time to spare for children who are struggling in their studies after working hours. I love to be having one-to-one sessions with students because this is where I can see their true academic weaknesses.

Rapport Building: Interacting with children and their parents is key to progression. Communication is vital and I am always on the ball for changes and new updates from parents. Compromising in a professional way is important in all tuition assignments I get.

Keeping Up with Curriculum: I am familiar with the current MOE syllabus as I have been tutoring P6 students prior to their PSLE exams. I have been teaching p3-6 onwards.

As a Good Tutor: A good teacher understands and treat the student as how she would like to be treated. No forcing, pressurising and intimidating students for better grades. The most rewarding feeling is progress and a good impact left by the tutor to keep the student motivated to study always.
