Commitment / Other Details
I am able to start ASAP and I am able to commit to a tuition assignment as long as possible. I am currently an NUS undergraduate specialising in Chemical Engineering.
Rapport Building
I will talk to them and enquire them about the students' preferred teaching habits and study habits. I will then try my best to adjust my teaching styles to better suit the students' needs. I will love to keep in contact with their parents so that I can better track the progress of the students.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I will familiarise myself with the latest syllabus of the different subjects and even enquire my own teachers from my secondary school/ junior college so as to better understand and keep myself updated with the curriculum.
As a Good Tutor
Good tutors are those who are patient, committed and caring. Patience is very important as it directly determines how a tutor handle his or her students during a tuition session. Students will only listen and behave good when they have a patient tutor. Commitment is another basic quality as it determines the determination and zest of the tutors. A very enthusiastic and interested tutor will definitely commit in his or her tuition assignment as long as possible. A caring tutor will then shower care to his or her students so that his or her students will feel cared for in their tuition and also think that they have a person whom they can rely on when they face difficulties in their studies.
