Tuition/Teaching Experience
I have 2 years of experience tutoring primary school students when I was studying in junior college. Students which I have tutored previously were generally weaker lower primary students who have shown visible improvement in their CAs and SAs before I introduced them to another tutor as I had to focus on my A Level examinations.

I am currently waiting for my A Level results after finishing the A Level syllabus at River Valley High School IP Programme. As I have only just finished the syllabus, I know clearly the demands of the syllabus and also the essential exam skills candidates need to have in order to excel in the A Level examinations. I will not only help my students to understand their subject better, but also teach them exam skills which may determine one's A Levels results.

Commitment / Other Details
I am currently serving my national service. As committed and dedicated I am in helping my students achieve their desired results, I will not be available for tuition on weekdays for most of the time. Thus, I would prefer students who are mostly available on weekends as this would ensure that I can monitor their progress in school as well as clarify any concepts from school which they are unsure about.
Rapport Building
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I have just finished my A Level syllabus in 2014 and thus I consider myself to be very familiar with the A Level syllabus. One way I studied for exams was to look through the syllabus documents and answer the learning outcomes on the syllabus document. As such, I believe that I have a fairly comprehensive understanding of the demands of the A Level syllabus. While there may be changes to the syllabus with time, they are minute and often involve the removal of content, with the exception of H2 Geography which will undergo a major overhaul in the syllabus in a few years. The syllabus document is also available online and easily accessible and therefore, keeping up with the syllabus changes should not be much of a problem.

I also have been providing tuition for primary school students for a period of time when I was studying in junior college. Although PSLE was a distant past for me, the demands of the syllabus remains very much similar. While tutoring my previous primary school students, I have also, through them, learnt the common problems primary school students face today. With this experience, I am confident of better teaching primary school students
As a Good Tutor
I believe that as a good tutor, one has to constantly monitor their students' work in and out of school. Only through this way will one be able to fully understand the problems and needs the student faces in their respective subjects. This is the basis for the student to improve further and achieve his or her potential in the subject.
