I am able to commit weekdays evening from 730 pm onwards. and weekends from 9am to 12pm and 630pm onwards. I am able to commit till the student's desired goals are achieved . I am able to start on any assignment immediately. I will provide materials if the students require,
Rapport Building
I will work closely with the child to ensure his learning needs are met and i will draft notes and lessons according to the child's speed and capability. this is to value add to services and also to ensure the child reaches his goals with minimal effort required as i understand any student in the current education scene is busy with extra activites apart from school work hence it is my job to help them get to their desired grades as soon as possible sp they can have a balanced student life. I will constantly update the parent on how the child is doing and if he slackens of or starts to fall behind, this is to ensure that i can fully understand what my student is going through.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
As a tutor I constantly update myself on the nuances on the new syllabus to ensure that i am able to deliver bite sized information and answering techniques to my students. I will look through recent year papers to help student combat new trends in question styles and craft my lesson to help them do better in exam situations.
As a Good Tutor
A tutor is more than just a teacher, he is a friend, as the students can convey their day to day life to them on a conversational basis as a tutor would be in a more approachable position due to the 1-1 lessons he has with the students compared to teachers in school. A tutor plays a veteran role in student's perspective as he is someone who has recently went through the education scene and the student can look to him to understand the emotions and difficulties they face on a day to day basis in their school life and turn to them for advice on various issues. A tutor is the essential in helping and conveying the student's state in learning to the parent and in the process assuring the parents that he is more than capable in helping the their child. A tutor is the bridge between the student and the ability in achieving the desired grades with minimal fuss, the catalyst required to start the path to academic excellence.
