As a native speaker I am in a good position to teach the many subtleties of English that can be required for IELTS (written debate, comprehension) or other examinations in order to enable study abroad.
I have recently completed the TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) course with i-to-i in London and there I've given lessons to students of various countries and skill levels.
The need to emphasise each of the language disciplines (speaking, reading, writing and listening) within each lesson in order to maximise the learning efficiency of each pupil is key for me.
My lesson plans would usually be a PPP format (Present - Practice - Production), this ensures a smooth transition in to drilling, practice and free production once a complete understanding has been observed.
