Able to start any time and can commit to long-term assignments. I prefer individual tuition at the student's home.
Rapport Building
I like to speak to the students' parents at least once a month (preferably once a week) to keep them updated on their children's progress. If the parents are not free before or after the tuition session, I will leave a note for them.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I'm currently teaching, so I consider myself fairly up-to-date with the curriculum.
As a Good Tutor
I think it's important to understand the student's learning style and to tailor the teaching to match this style so that the student can learn more effectively. I also believe in pushing students (even beyond the curriculum if possible).
