I have 8 years teaching / tutoring experience and have a strong passion to help students succeed in their academic areas, particularly maths and science (physics and chemistry). I have taught students from top schools and neighbourhood schools and have seen marked improvement in both categories. I am able to identify student's problem areas and am committed to work with them to achieve better grades.

Commitment / Other Details
As a permanent part time tutor, I can follow through with the student for as long as he/she is in secondary education taking maths and/or science. I have taught several students from tuition centre and private tuition for 2 -3 years until they they graduate. Currently I have 2 students whom I have taught for more than 2 years.
I hope I will be able to work well with all students whom I am teaching. Thus i take feedback from the parents and students very seriously.
Rapport Building
Through guiding and helping them through their problem areas, I am able to build rapport and friendship with the students. They are able to share their problems and activities in their life with me as they know I care for them.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I am teaching in a tuition centre and private school while giving private tuition. At the same time, I constantly look into the syllabuses of the courses based on SEAB set standards. This allows me to keep up to date.
