Tuition/Teaching Experience
I taught primary level English at an English tuition centre for a year.
Currently giving private English tuition.
I have a strong passion in teaching English and helping students to do well in the subject. I used to work at a student care centre for 4 years, thus I have experience in understanding children's needs in terms of academic as well as other aspects of their wellbeing.
Grammar and vocabulary knowledge is not only fundamental in this subject, but important as well. I will go through lists of synonyms to help students enhance their vocabulary base.
I also have a grade 5 certificate in piano and I am keen to teach beginner levels too.

I am able to start immediately and commit for at least a year.
My available time slots are weekdays and Saturday mornings.
Rapport Building
I follow a system whereby I have a record sheet to take note of what I go through with the student during every lesson. I also inform parents about the student's progress weekly. I strongly believe that a child needs both the tutor and parent's cooperation as well as support to do well in the studies.
