I am an English teacher by profession and acquired my degree at De La Salle Lipa University, Philippines. Developed through media exposure as a radio deejay and event hosting, I have an excellent command in English language and am very comfortable in public speaking, over the phone and in front of the camera.
I was able to online tutor Chinese kids back in 2012. Based on the company, the kids loved me and they are truly adorable. My main job scope was to help them practice correct English pronunciation, while for adults, I helped them practice English using OEFL Questions, IELTS Questions, Job Interview Questions.
This was just a part time job for me for a few months since during the time I was also managing my own retail business at home and was teaching my own daughter the basics.

Commitment / Other Details
I can start tutoring any time and can commit long term as long as required.
Rapport Building
I am naturally charismatic and I can easily relate to parents and kids since I am also a parent myself. If they have time to sit down with me for a talk, I would ask them of their past experiences with other tutors and their concerns for their child. I would also ask if they observed some hesitancy to learn from their child so I can plan strategies and address them the soonest we start the sessions.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
Being an educator is a continuous learning process. We get to learn by constantly reading, researching and learning by experience. As a teacher, we learn and become more competitive by opening self to endless possibilities and by being adaptive.
As a Good Tutor
Tutors and all teachers should have real concern for students for they depend on you with correct information. Teaching should not be treated as a job, but as a vocation. Dedication and commitment should always be in the hearts of educators.
