As a PRC scholar, I started peer tutoring my classmates when I was sec 3 since I am good at math and physics and chemistry as well as Chinese. I was the top in the cohort for two years in Math and Higher Chinese. I entered VJ and joined soccer team. I was the only scholar in the team, I always helped my teammates with their study. Due to my excellent academic performance in Chemistry, I was assigned as peer tutor by the Chemistry department and I tutored a lot of my classmates. After A-level and at uni, I did part-time tutoring for JC, secondary andprimary students, primarily by recommendation of my local friends. I am quite a patient person and good at guiding students and teach them the way of thinking instead of just telling them answers.I also give examples to test their understanding.

Commitment / Other Details
Weekend students are preferred. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings are currently okay and Wednesday afternoon is also okay. Able to start now. Fine with 6-8 hours per week.
Rapport Building
I am an outgoing and outspoken person. I will give sincere feedback to parents when we communicate. Kids usually get along well with me because I am quite an easy approaching person and willing to share my stories with them.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
Before I take on a tuition, I will ask the students first about what he learns, ask him to send some materials for me to prepare in advance and I also kept my JC notes with me. I believe the core knowledge are always more or less the same.
