Tuition/Teaching Experience
11 years of teaching experience. Have taught 5 graduating classes for PSLE with 75% of the class scoring As and A*s.
In addition, I have also taught pupils in the bridging curriculum, guiding them to gain confidence and love for the language.
Can only teach on tuesday and friday afternoons from 3pm to 5pm. Weekends is strictly limited to saturday morning between 930am to 1pm
Rapport Building
Pupils have enjoyed my lessons as a class teacher. I am able to adapt to hard or soft approaches to reach out to different pupils. Parents will be kept updated via sms or after every tuition session on the progress of the child.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
Currently a school teacher plus subject coordinator, hence familiarity with current updates is definitely not an issue.
As a Good Tutor
Patience for the non native speakers or children with english speaking background.
Building confidence in them to master the language is important in my teaching.
Having to instil some form of discipline is also important in seeing results.
