I am a very experienced English essay marker (for secondary school level), so I believe that it will be of great help to my tutees.
Able to begin immediately, and will be available for a long term, no less than 3 years.
Rapport Building
I am friendly with my students in school, yet at the same time stern when need be. I am very real in advising them, because I would not like them to waste their time and parents' money and play the fool in school and during tuition sessions. I get my work done on time, and in return, expect my students/tutees to be as prompt when it comes to submitting work that I assign.
For tuition sessions, I mark in the presence of the students so that they understand the requirements of marking and their mistakes will be immediately corrected. That said, I need not expect corrections to be done for my inspection.
I do not have much interaction with parents of my school students. However, parents of my tutees, by far, seem to be satisfied customers who see positive results.
I do not believe in reprimanding, but I do believe that students have to be up for what they have signed for. As far as possible, I have not ever, and do not wish to deal with disciplinary issues during tuition because unlike long school hours, time is too precious during tutoring sessions. Both parties should make the best of it.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I am updated with the curriculum thanks to my job as a teacher. And my tutees will be at a greater advantage because I am required to create question papers for my students, which I can also use for tutoring.
As a Good Tutor
There is only one aim of a tutor. The success of his student.
