I have been giving Science and Math tuition for 8 years. Usually after 2-4 lessons, I will prepare my own sets of notes for lessons and supplement students with various questions prepared by myself. Nearer to exam period, I will provide other schools past year exam papers for the students to try. I will encourage students to call or text me whenever they required my help outside tuition hours.

I will prefer the students to provide me with their available timing and I can do my planning to suit the students time if possible. I preferred to start tuition with the students from secondary 1 onwards, this will be good as I could build up rapport and understand the students in order to help to achieve improvement results all the way to upper secondary level.
Rapport Building
I have no standard ways of building rapport, as everyone reacts and interacts differently. So I will go with the flow and see how we can work things out during the first meeting.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I constantly interact with my friends, who are teachers from various school, to find out if there are any changes in MOE education structure.
As a Good Tutor
Have to be patience with students, creative in teaching and attentive with details about students education needs.
