Had past Secondary 3 tutee for E and A Mathematics, found replacement for ownself with suitable tutor due to National Service Commitment clashing with interest of tutee.
Experienced in guiding for Mathematics and Physics for till A lvl and able to objectively complete several smaller checkpoints for efficient and effective learning/preparation.
Able to start immediately and can commit to anyday of the week till August (until University semester starts). Tuitions over weekend will be prioritised and able to commit to tuition assignment for up till 2017.
Rapport Building
Transparency in communication is essential and expectations is something a tutor will have to meet. I tend to prefer to have a small session with tutee and parents before commencement of first lesson to lay out simple expectations and requests for both side, and I welcome any amendment or shift in objective along the way.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I have sibling currently preparing for O levels and will refer to the past year official examination paper to keep up to date with question trends and spread of topics
As a Good Tutor
Honestly, as I see it as essential that a tutor is direct with tutee and parents what he/she is capable of delivering within a certain timeframe.
Flexibility. Due to demands of Singapore's education system, students have certain periods where they will be busier and a tutor that can adjust to such schedule changes will be able to provide more to tutee's learning.
