Tuition/Teaching Experience
I am a law graduate teaching part-time tuition and my pet subjects are English, English Literature, GP and the Humanities ( Social studies, History). I find teaching fulfilling and I would like to help your child find greater meaning in studying these subjects.
To do so, I will employ a variety of teaching methods, veering away from rote learning to that of experiential learning- depending on the nature of the subject and the progress of each child. For example, for a subject like Literature, I will encourage role playing from time -to- time to stimulate true comprehension of the protagonist's role in the novel. Likewise for History, I will employ timelines/charts and mindmaps linking key themes within the space of time.
