Tuition/Teaching Experience
Through tutoring of my peers in IB/ A level math for 2 years, I have found great joy in teaching. Knowing that my tutoring helped someone overcome their academic difficulties, clear their doubts, and helped them gain confidence in what was once their weak subject gives me a sense of fulfilment.
Have experience in teaching English as a foreign language for 2 years. I have a strong command for the English language and a flair for writing. I am a very patient person and will take the utmost care to ensure your child has a good grasp of the language. I do so love English, and enjoy teaching it as well, and firmly believe that anyone can learn English effectively if taught in an interactive manner. I will focus on the essentials in the spheres of writing, listening and speaking.
I am able to start immediately and am willing to commit long-term if necessary. During the period of May-August 2014 I will be able to give extra classes if necessary.
Rapport Building
Every kid that comes under my tutelage will not only be my student, but will also be my friend, regardless of age. He/she can feel free to contact me anytime if there is any problem, even outside of academics, or with any questions regarding any matter at all. The same goes for his/her parents; they can contact me whenever necessary.
I will also ensure that I keep the parents updated on a regular basis with their child's progress.

As a Good Tutor
I believe that more important than having the knowledge of the subject to teach (although essential as well), is the heart to teach at all. By first wanting to help students overcome their academic difficulties, and the desire to guide them is what makes a good tutor. Showing your student that you care deeply and believe in their potential will give them the very encouragement they need to reach out and achieve their goals.
Because your tutor is not only your academic coach, but also your mentor, someone you turn to in times of difficulty, even outside of academics.
