Tuition/Teaching Experience
I have been teaching primary and secondary students in English, Math and Science (pure and combined sciences) for the past 3 years. My students enjoy the lessons and understand their work better and I also enjoy teaching them and helping them improve in their understanding. I also have experience with teaching foreign students who do not speak English as their first language.
I am currently a full-time tutor and can start lessons immediately, schedule can be discussed again. I am able to commit to each student until they finish their major examinations as I am teaching full-time.
Rapport Building
I will inform the parents about the child's progress after every lesson and try to let them know how they can further help their child. I also try to help the student as much as possible as every student has different ways of studying and I will assist them in finding the best way to study.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I check the syllabus often and also consult other tuition teachers.
As a Good Tutor
I think that a good tutor comprises of being patient, firm and having the ability to relate with the student. A good tutor should also know the limits of the student and try and get them to do their best but not stress them out.
