I have been giving private tuition for 6 years. The training that I have undergone in NIE has provided me opportunities to learn more about conducting lessons for a small group of students. I have been teaching in a primary school as an Allied Educator for 4 years,specialising in Mathematics. I am committed and dedicated in imparting knowledge to students.
I provide timely feedback to the parents of my students and provide suggestions on how they can help their child at home.
I always encourage my students to do well in whatever they are doing and occasionally reward them when they have achieved their goals. I will provide feedback and comment on their work as and when I feel that there is a need. I ensure that my students feel safe to ask me any questions that they have in mind.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I will look through the Mathematics syllabus at the start of the year to ensure that I teach what would be tested. I provide learning resources and create differentiated materials to help meet the learning needs of my students. I ensure that my students are able to understand the concepts taught before I move on.
