I had tutored an 'O' level student English. His grade before tuition was F9. After 3 months' tutelage, he managed to obtain a pass (C6) for English in his 'O' level results. He and his mum thanked me for help. I was a full-time tutor at a tuition centre teaching Maths, Physics, Chemistry. Students from different schools benefitted from my guidance.
