Commitment / Other Details
When I teach, my aim is to ensure that students understand and do well in the eamination.
Rapport Building
In teaching, rapport is critical. It helps student to be more receptive to learning. Hence, patience and understanding is important in building rapport.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
Frankly, I am just starting to tutor. So, I would need to find ways to keep up with the most current curriculum to make sure that the student stay abreast. Looking up the MOE site would be necessary.
As a Good Tutor
A good tutor is also a good mentor. He is not only concerned about the academic side, but also the student as well. A good tutor can exert strong good influence on a weak student. For example, a student may be extremely shy, quiet, or has an inferiority complex. A good tutor should not just tutor, but boost up the confidence and esteem of such student. It is always a joy to see good changes in a student's life.
