I do not have experience in teaching/tutoring, but I do have experience in assisting martial arts children classes such as in Aikido where one class normally involve 10-20 over children. The children range from ages 5 - 12. Since 2012, I've been assistant for the children classes for Aikido Shinjukai Yew Tee CC Dojo, sometimes I have to teach 1-on-1 for the children and sometimes adults in class. So I think, as long as I am able to handle an area of my niche, I would be able to teach well.
I normally build rapport with students and parents by chatting with them getting to understand them better in areas of what they want for their child such as needs and also where the interest of the child lies.
