As a Good Tutor
I feel that having both patience and understanding is crucial to ensuring that the student is comfortable in comfortable in communicating with the tutor. This will directly impact the ability of the student to fully understand the concept being taught as they will be less apprehensive to voice out when they have questions to raise.
A good tutor will also have good people skills in order to handle parents who may have concerns regarding the progress of their children.
