I have been teaching tuition for 3 years. In total I have taught 6 pupils of the primary school level.
My students have shown remarkable improvement in general. One example is a recent tutee who showed improvement in her primary 6 mathematic grade from a B to A* for PSLE.

My student's goals are treated my own. Hence I would make sure to keep in check if there is anything the tutee's parents would like me to work on for their child. I will definitely also check on my tutee to see if they are doing ok. Parents and tutee's can feel free to contact me anytime if anything regarding tuition matters.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
My mother is a primary school teacher, hence I could ask her for curriculum updates or anything I am unsure of. Also, I could browse through assessment books and textbooks to be sure of the syllabus. Exam papers can also be found easily on tuition portals or in bookshops.
As a Good Tutor
Patience with children. Knowledgeable and sure of what she is teaching. Be flexible to accomodate to her tutee's needs.
