I have been teaching since January 2009. Started in MacPherson Secondary School as a relief teacher. Took over Secondary 1 to 3 Mathematics, Science and D&T. Job ended in June 2009 when I entered University.
Started private tutoring from June 2009 teaching Primary English, Mathematics and Science and Secondary Mathematics and Science. Occassionally I do help English if needed.
In June 2009, I worked for Simply Education at Tiong Bahru teaching Primary 2-4 Mathematics until January 2013.
In March 2012, I worked for SSTC private school preparing foreign students for Government School entrance examination. I took Primary 6 to Secondary 2 Mathematics and Science. I was required to set test papers, mark, design classroom board, provide feedback to parents/guardians.
Lower secondary level - English Mathematics Science

Commitment / Other Details
I am able to start now and committed with the assignment for as long as I can still be beneficial to the growth of the child academically. At a minimum, I am prepared to support for at least a year.
Rapport Building
I am open to feedback, open discussion at any time through email, sms or telephone conversation and face to face after lesson.
I always provide feedback on the performance of the child, my strategy, target set and ways the child can improve.
With students, I usually have a short chat and jokes in between lesson to break the boredom or the continuation.
Follow up by telephone and sms on academic related matter.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I have open discussion in online forum such as kiasu parents and with my former secondary school teacher every few months to get any updates with MOE's requirement.
I do read feedback from teachers on students to suit myself to the individual requirement
