As a Good Tutor
As i have 3 Piano Tutors before, i believed that a good piano tutor need to have 3 Major Qualities.
1) Patience
this is necessary as students get frustrated easily from learning new scores or from lack of interested.
2) Belief in the Student's Ability
As learning piano is a long process with numerous failures ( wrong keys and unpleasant sounds at the start) students can get demoralize, hence the piano teacher needs to constantly encourage and believe in the student to push he or she onward.
3) Firmness
As to most students, Piano is not the main focus of their studies. Hence they do not take much consideration into piano homework or practice. however practice is unavoidable in the learning of piano. Thus it is the teacher job to remind and ensure that the student give a certain amount of attention towards piano.
