I have develop best practices throughout my years of experience in home tuition.
I will observe and assess the child's ability, develop strategies to help the chid improve in targeted areas, and communicate them clearly to the child and parent. This is also recorded in a book which I will let the parent keep.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I have contacts with text book publishers and visit them at least once a year.
I also keep in contact with my previous colleagues and batch mates to network and keep myself updated with the latest teaching strategies, learning techniques and syllabus.
As a Good Tutor
Ability to assess accurately the child's learning gaps
Develop overall strategy and target techniques to improve the child's learning
