Rapport Building
I usually do that by giving regular updates on the progress of their children on a monthly basis, or when the need arises so that the parents will be able to assist me in making sure that their children continues to do their school and tuition homework diligently. This is to ensure that my student will be able to balance well in terms of their study capacity and to ensure that not too much stress is being imposed on them which may affect their learning ability.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I'm constantly reading up on syllabus-related content and am also in touch/obtaining guidance from a few primary school and secondary school teachers teaching under MOE.
