I have tutored several of my friends siblings over the years, they are from primary and secondary schools in the North-Western part of Singapore. I have done voluntary tutoring in my Secondary school as an alumni as well, and received commendations from my teachers.Had 2 year experience helping secondary friends in peer tutition and help them from passed to Bs and As.
Currently tutoring pri 3 and pri 4 boy in science and maths, the pri 4 boy was failing in both subjects, but after several sessions of tuition he is now getting Bs occasionally. The pri 3 boy has improved from a passing grade to B.

I'm always updated with the curriculum as i have friends who are currently MOE teachers in primary and secondary schools, and i've been teaching tuition regularly for the past 4 years and i'm very familiar with the syllabus.
As a Good Tutor
First i'll gather information from the parents about the expectations of the child, then i will look at the child's ability, identifying their strengths and weaknesses. Thereafter to concentrate on sharpening their strengths and improving their weaknesses.
I believe in gradual improvement to give the child a sense of achievement, breaking down dreams that seem impossible into small steps to make their dreams into reality.
