I have no prior experience but I believe I am responsible and patient enough to offer help to students. I am willing to listen to the students' opinions and problems. I wish to teach beyond the textbooks and be a guide to the students.

Commitment / Other Details
I am currently in the army so I only have the weekends off. I would prefer Saturday and Sunday mornings or early afternoons. I would like to start in December when I'll have more free time to commit.
Rapport Building
I want to respect the students as individuals rather than treat them as poor students who need help. I am willing to hear out opinions and offer suggestions or solutions to problems rather than give a strict answer to every issue. I believe I am able to communicate effectively with the parents and students.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I read the news from time to time so I know about current affairs. I also enjoy reading for leisure so I have a good command of English. I believe I am competent in my analytical skills, enough to offer advice on subjects such as General Paper or English Literature.
As a Good Tutor
I think teaching is also learning so as a tutor I do not want to come across as domineering or force the students to do work they find meaningless. I believe in effective communication to do well in both work and life. Responsibility to the work, the parents and the students is also important. I think a good tutor will teach students beyond what is required and help them appreciate what they study.
