I have went through teaching experiences in school, such as tutoring weaker students and tutoring friends with difficult subjects for their GCE 'O' levels. I am patient and keep the session as informal and fun as possible, no matter how mundane the subject may be. I have a very keen interest in music and firmly believe that music should not be deprived from those who wants to learn music.

Commitment / Other Details
I will be able to start my tuitions immediately and usually on a weekend, but weekdays are ok as well as long as they are on an evening.
Rapport Building
I normally keep the working relationship between myself and students, as well as their family, as jovial as possible, but still maintaining the same goal of giving quality tutoring and guidance.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I would usually keep up with curriculum by referring to the MOE given guidelines every year and then modifying my curriculum now and then. I would find out the student's weak points and work from there before going on to the other topics.
As a Good Tutor
I feel that the qualities of a good tutor is whether the tutor is able to think in the hearts of the student and the student's family. There is no point in having unnecessary tuition if the student is doing well, but there is definitely a need for tuition when there are weak spots in the student's understanding, and that is where tutors come into play. A good tutor I feel must be able to recognise this fact and instead of overburdening the student with tuition and work, the tutor should think for the heart of the student and administer care accordingly.
