Commitment / Other Details
Able to start immediately as I do not have any other commitments. Will remain fully committed to tuition assignments.
Rapport Building
I usually treat the student like an adult as i mostly deal with more mature students (Teens). This help to create a very comfortable environment for the student to open up and ask questions in the event that he has trouble with the syllabus in school.

Meeting up the parents occasionally to brief them on the progress of the child is indeed important. This way, parents will have a better sense of comfort level in knowing that the tutor knows what he/she is doing.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I usually read a lot and keep up with the news often to constantly remain updated. I will also cross check with the students on what has been taught in school and what hasn't so that we can go ahead of class. Often, I will visit the MOE website to keep abreast with news/changes in the Singapore education system / curriculum.
As a Good Tutor
Patience is an important aspect of all good tutors, especially in going the extra mile to help the student. At the same time, a tutor has to be firm in ensuring that tuition homework is done on time prior to the next tuition lesson so as to allow good progress.
