I was an MOE intern at Bowen Secondary School from January to March 2013. During my internship, I experienced the preparation of English and Music lessons and teaching materials and was required to do so daily under the supervision of my mentors. In addition, I also conducted lessons in the classroom at least thrice a week, did multiple relief duties and gave instrumental and theory lessons to students in my assigned CCA once or twice a week throughout my internship. I am able to handle a class of 30-40 as a result of my teaching stint in Bowen Secondary School.
I am currently a part-time assistant Art Enrichment teacher in several kindergartens.

Commitment / Other Details
I am able to commit from July 2013 to Mid-February 2014. I prefer to give tuition in the afternoon or at night on weekdays and Sunday, and on Saturday mornings or evenings.
Rapport Building
I am polite and respectful when interacting with my clients and will try my best to accommodate their requests. I am usually cheerful and smiley, unlikely to intimidate my students.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I own many current syllabus textbooks and teaching materials which will aid me in keeping up with the curriculum.
As a Good Tutor
Even though I am friendly, I am also firm with my students and will not accept sub-par work from them. I am very encouraging and will motivate my students to achieve their best. I am also not calculative and am willing to help students outside of the time allocated for tuition.
