Tuition/Teaching Experience: - I taught Math, English, & Chinese to a P3 kid for about a year while I was holding a full time job. I quit as I had to do my degree at night after I knocked off from my full time work.

- I worked at Kumon center guiding kids (from age 4 to 14) in English and Math for about 9months.

- I used to work as a part-time IT trainer. It required me to conduct IT lessons to a class of primary school students at the various primary schools.

- I was a student mentor during my education in Singapore Polytechnic. I was assigned to 1 or 2 students at the assigned primary school.

I am basically a cheerful and out-going person. More importantly, I believe in having the responsibility to ensure that the kids learn well and understand the lessons.

Tutoring Subjects

Commitment / Other Details: Full time working adult at Changi General Hospital; Monday - Friday (8.30am-6pm), 1 Saturday every 4 weeks.

I am able to provide tuition after work from Monday to Thursday and on Saturday and Sunday morning.

Rapport Building: 1st lesson: Basic introduction followed by understanding his/ her understanding of the subject

Subsequently, I would try to drill on areas which he/she is weak at.

As a Good Tutor: I should ensure that the student is motivated to complete the task given, and that he/she is able to understand and appreciate the subject taught. More importantly, I would try to come out with different approaches when he/she is unable to understand certain areas of a subject.
