Tuition/Teaching Experience
1 year experience in teaching "O" Level & PSLE students in Mathematics.
Improvement by at least 2 grades from tests to examinations.
Strongly believes in practice makes perfect and wishes students to get the best grades for their examinations.
Able to start as soon as possible and commit till end of the year or continue the next year if situation allows.
Tuition lessons will be held in either weekend mornings or weekday evenings.
Rapport Building
I normally build rapport by listening to their troubles and difficulties in learning things and finding the optimal solution for them to understand the concept. Moreover, I try to make the lesson interesting by making jokes occasionally and try my best not to scold unless necessary as I believe scolding will only demoralize the students.
Always believe in motivation and try my best to instill passion and interest in the subject.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
Before commencement of tuition assignment, I will always make a trip to book stores to get some assessment books and guide books to update myself of the current curriculum. For "O" Level students, I will always look at prelim exams of different Secondary Schools and let my students try papers of different difficulty.
