I'm currently waiting for university to start in August. I would prefer to hold the class at the tutee's house or a location outside eg. McDonald's or Starbucks.
My teaching method is more open, consultation based. Tutees can bring their school work and ask questions and I would also give assignments for them to practice on.
Rapport Building
Through lots of communication. I will try to understand the student's preferred way of learning and modify my lessons accordingly. I will also need the parents help to monitor their children's progress and keep me to date.
Keeping Up with Curriculum
I have friends who are teachers who I can seek for updates on their curriculum.
